Easter Weekend, a long four day weekend which for many marks the end of lent, spending time with family, tourist trips or eating lots of chocolate. Run To The Moon. An honest blog about running, heavy metal and chronic illness. 7426 - 88.36KM: Rauceby Ripper. Beware the Rauceby Ripper. Run To The Moon. An honest blog about running, heavy metal and chronic illness. 100335 - 1010.37KM: Ascension (Silkstone Shuffle). On Sunday 24th November I completed the 1000KM Challenge at the City of Norwich Half Marathon. So what was I doing in the middle of a field outside Barnsley last Saturday morning in my shorts and a vest? Well there is still the small matter of my personal quest to run 52 races this year, starting with the Silkstone Shuffle. Desperately trying to not look saggy. 21/07 - Sheffi...

Run To The Moon. An honest blog about running, heavy metal and chronic illness. Year in Review: Top 5 Worst/Toughest Races. Of course the easy (and lazy) option would be to go with 5 of the 6 marathons I ran last year, but instead to resist temptation I have limited my selection to one race from each distance plus a couple of wildcards. So, without further ado, here is my top 5 (in no particular order) worst/toughest races of 2013. Plays Top of the Pops music*. Sheffield Man of Steel. Yet if given the ch...

Run To The Moon. An honest blog about running, heavy metal and chronic illness. 20 - 32km: Resolution Run. The second weekend in January saw my third run and second race with Eight Point Two's Resolution Run around Rother Valley Country Park.
