旧天城トンネル 全長446ｍ 幅4.02ｍ. 天城縦走路の起点になっている八丁池は、標高1,170ｍにある天城火山の火口湖で、その名は池の周囲が八丁 ( 870ｍ ) あるところからつけられたといいます。 七滝 ななたる という名称の通り、 大滝 初景滝 かに滝 釜滝 えび滝 出合滝 へび滝 と７つの滝をみることができます。 国道414号、七滝 大滝温泉への入口にあたる河津七滝ループ橋は、総延長1.1km、高さ45m、直径80mの巨大な２重ループ橋 道の高低差を２重のラセンで継いだ高架橋。
