Saturday, November 26, 2011. We ended our trip to Myanmar where we began, in Yangon (Rangoon.) We had about two days to see some sights, do some shopping and arrange for Gail's visa at the Vietnamese consulate. We visited a few more pagoda's including a large reclining Buddha. As we sat in the waiting room, we weren't quite sure what our guide was getting us into…. And our anxiety didn't calm as we were carried along by the crowds embarking…. The essential stop in Yangon, though, is the Schwedagon pagoda.
