The GF/V Athlete: Finding Recipes
http://fewmnliz.blogspot.com/2013/02/recipe-review.html
Life as a vegan and (mostly) gluten-free endurance athlete. Thursday, February 7, 2013. I absolutely LOVE browsing through cookbooks for ideas. I am horrible at following recipes (just ask Scott how many times in the last month a story has started with "So, I didn't quite read the entire recipe, but."), but my experiments usually turn out pretty good! Here are some of my current loves when it comes to vegan cookbooks:. By Terry Hope Romero and Isa Chandra Moskowitz. By Terry Hope Romero. A great gluten, ...

The GF/V Athlete: My Go-To GF Flour Mix
http://fewmnliz.blogspot.com/2013/02/my-go-to-gf-flour-mix.html
Life as a vegan and (mostly) gluten-free endurance athlete. Monday, February 18, 2013. My Go-To GF Flour Mix. Well, it's the end of a 4-day weekend (one of the perks of working for the government - you get every other Friday off, so Monday holidays sometimes result in 4 day weekends! The kitchen is clean, there's bread rising in the oven, and I just opened up a bottle of wine. Seems like a good time to get caught up on the blog. The main flour mix that is used in this bread is a mix of garbanzo-fava bean...

This Ginger Has Sole: September 2012
http://triliterate.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
This Ginger Has Sole. Running. Writing. Reading. Cooking. Adventuring. Thursday, September 27, 2012. This past weekend, we took a quick trip up to Grand Rapids, Michigan to check out ArtPrize. Their annual downtown arts festival. We saw a lot of amazing art, but my favorite part (shocking, I know) was getting in a morning run along the Grand River, which cuts through downtown, and is just beautiful. Art in the river! In other news, I got talked into doing the Color Me Rad 5k. Monday, September 24, 2012.

The Portable Blog: Birthdays are Inevitable. Age is Irrelevant.
http://theportabledad.blogspot.com/2013/04/birthdays-are-inevitable-age-is.html
Thursday, April 11, 2013. Birthdays are Inevitable. Age is Irrelevant. Today is my 47th birthday. I didn't plan writing a blog post about it until I was about halfway through a hill-repeat workout this morning and realized that at 47 I'm fitter and healthier than I was at 37, and probably 27. I owe a thank you to Medtronic. For making the valve that keeps blood flowing to my lungs. I'm not being easy on the valve, guys, but I don't have to be. Thanks for that. I also want to thank TriSports.com. So today...
