Sunday, April 29, 2012. It seemed pretty silly of me to be organizing a food swapping group, when I hadn't even been to a swap before. But, I assure you, what I lack in experience I make up for in reading. The Philly Swappers. Graciously offered me an invite to their Spring swap. So Thursday night, we drove up to Jenkintown, PA - an hour and half each way! The venue for their Spring event was held at the beautiful Meadowbrook Farm. But I will provide them. What surprised me most about the swap was how la...

This week’s recipe, popovers is available on Paula’s. This must have been the easiest recipe yet to date! Blend, pour, and bake. Can’t get much simpler than that. I have never had a popover before, so I really did not have any frame of reference to compare this recipe to. In the book, it says some people like the creamy inside, and some don’t, well, I did! Lisa of Tomato Thymes in the Kitchen. And Andrea of The Kitchen Lioness. Were the hosts this week, so check out their sites for the recipe. And the ta...

Crafty Theresa D: Yummy Cake Pops
http://craftytheresad.blogspot.com/2011/08/yummy-cake-pops.html
Wednesday, August 17, 2011. So I've tried cake pops before.you know the ones that are made by crumbling a whole cake and mixing the crumbs with a ton of frosting so you can form balls. I've never liked them, way too sweet for me! Well I found a cake pop maker. Recently that would allow me to make cake pops without the frosting! It looks like a waffle maker, but it forms perfect little round cake balls. They were really easy to make, just a little time consuming! Okay, VERY time consuming!
