Saturday, May 30, 2009. Going on a mission. Bob and I received our mission call today. We will be going to Johannesburg,South Africa. Bob's eyes were as big as lemons when he read where we were going, I am still shocked. Our children were half and half shocked. I thought we were going to England or somewhere in Europe, boy was I wrong! I am getting used to it now. We told all the kids at the Second Chance Prom in Kingman, Arizona and called Tom in Ga. Tuesday, January 12, 2010. We arrived to Johannesburg, South Africa after a grueling 15 hours from Atlanta, Georgia. We spent 4 days in the Mission Home where we learned that we would be the first Missionary Couple to open up Francistown, Botswana. Which meant another 12 hour car drive. South Africa Johannesburg Mission. We made it to the MTC in Provo UT. Fuzz is pointing to South Africa on the map in the MTC. Little did we know that we would be north of it in Francistown, Botswana.
