Because of Taichung, I was a bit scared of what was ahead of me considering Tainan was smaller and older than Taichung. It was not messy! Bus stops were very neatly positioned and organised. You have to take the Ho-Hsin Bus to Lugang and their bus station is at the Gancheng 干城 bus stop (a bus stop away from train station) you can take from the 朝马Chaoma bus station as well and I think from the High speed railway station of Taichung. The World Outside Singapore. The memories of my travels. March 21, 2011. Taipei Week 1: Jiufen九份/Jinguashi金瓜石. I packed my bags and left Taipei City for Jiufen 九份. Unfortunately, throughout my 2 days stay, it rained and rained and rained and rained. See? Near the sea ya? Sure rain when I'm around. So it was a pretty cloudy, misty and rainy time in Jiufen. Everytime I get back, my jeans would be wet till mid-calf. but not my shoes! Thankful to Xiu who bought me my timberland shoes which are waterproof!

This is called the miscellaneous post - what I did in Taichung - remaining days. If you do your maths, there was one day I did not go anywhere. That was the day I actually planned to go to the lavender farm. So, I actually stayed indoors the whole day. Now, some of you must be screaming THAT'S WASTING YOUR TIME! Went out to get my meal and came back in to have it in front of my TV.

Taiwan, Japan, Bath (England) and Italy but this one I'm not too sure. So, how can one come to Taiwan and NOT go to a hotspring? The weather then made it really great for a soak in the hotspring! So off to Beitou 北投. In Taipei - you can go to Beitou or WuLai or Yangmingshan for hotspring). At the MRT station.
