The three month Germany adventure has drawn to a close. Now, it’s time to head home to family and friends back in the US. The last three weeks in Germany were spent by Ryan enjoying the Christkindlmarkts and meeting some friends who he hadn’t seen yet in Germany. Hopefully we get to travel to Germany again…. Our first stop was Santa Maria Maggiore, but since there was a mass in session, we decided to revisit this one again later. Next, we walked to the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme then continued on to San Giovanni in Laterano, the Pope’s church. This was the first church to be built in Rome, shortly after.
