Fast forward to this past weekend. April 30, 2006. Busy weekend behind me. I worked Saturday and Sunday this week, as I will for the next month, and should for the rest of my life. I forgot how rewarding the weekend days can be. In April I only worked 1 Sunday and 3 Saturdays (Easter was in there so I don't blame myself for missing them all). My delivered sales this month, as a direct result. STINK. March 30, 2006. Well It's Thursday in sunny Richmond VA. I drove around earlier, running some errands, with the top down on my convertible (AGAIN). Maybe I shouldn't be so hasty to give up on this place. It can be rather fun at times. The days drag on but the years fly by. Grilled Salmon on the Big Green Egg. Nothing too special about the salmon cook. Heat BGE to 325-350. Slice lemons to create a bed for salmon (skin down) to cook directly on the grate. I’ve also used oranges or limes but always prefer lemons 1st. Apply a little olive oil to the filets so the seasoning will stick to the salmon. Use plenty of seasoning and place a lemon on top of each filet. I personally like the Dizzy Pig Raging River. Better than any restaurant.
