We have another Fairy Tale Castle! Two years ago, our school did a school wide unit on Children's Literature and I chose Fairy Tales as the genre that our class would focus on. The Adventures of Glade and Addison: February 2013
http://schreinertwins.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 20, 2013. An afternoon at the park. The kids have been asking to go to the park after school for about 2 week. I have had to put them off because of rain or me working for two weeks straight. So yesterday I loaded their bikes in the back of the suburban and picked them up from school. They were so excited! They hung around like monkeys! A bike ride is not complete without riding through a puddle! This little girl is so proud to be riding without training wheels! Look at all of them!

Our Sweet Happy Home: what's in my freezer
http://oursweethappyhome.blogspot.com/2013/01/what-in-my-freezer.html
Whats in my freezer. I'm pretty proud to say that after a couple weeks' work, I think I have enough food in the freezer to feed my little family (two adults and a toddler) for about a month after baby girl makes her arrival. That includes food for breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. And it doesn't include pantry staples that I'll also have on hand to whip up simple meals. Lately accumulating new recipes for us to try. And as you will notice, I am really putting my new Weelicious cookbook. The bean loves th...

our family: April 2014
http://rickandpage.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 11, 2014. Ashley and Soren visited from Boston! Soren and Isla are only a month apart, and it was very cute to see Soren interacting with his cousins. We were unable to do any sightseeing until the very last day Ashley was here, which turned out to be a surprisingly freezing day! We jumped out of the car, ran to the Alamo, ran down to the Riverwalk, and sprinted back to the car, with most of the kids crying about the cold. Everett and Faye in the kitchen sink! It turned out to be a really, ...

Friday, January 16, 2015. December 2014: Trip to VA. My parents considered coming to San Antonio for Christmas, but instead they generously offered to help us fly out to Virginia so we could all be together. Rick had to work every day between Christmas and New Years anyway, so the kids and I took off for Virginia early Christmas morning. Very excited to fly and visit Pappy and Grandmama! That lady missed out on some great conversation opportunities. Here are all the grandkids with Pappy and Grandmama....
