For Family and Friends. Saturday, December 10, 2011. I just wanted you to know that our first attempt at letter boxing didn't cause me to decide to quit! I have added seven stamps since I last wrote and am still having fun. I do have to admit I took Ken with me on one attempt and when we got out of the car at our destination he looked at me and asked, "Where's your journal? I had left it at home! The journal is what you stamp your located rubber stamp in to prove you found it!

For Family and Friends. Monday, July 26, 2010. I have had a wonderful time with my friend Carol running the Rogue River. We were able to have three great days on the river. The first day was just Carol and I, the second Joyce joined us and on the third Beth was with us. All in all a great three days. And I didn't fall in! Well I didn't fall out of the boat! Well not going through rapids! We finished two of the days at our favorite restaurant sitting outside above the river eating delicious Mexican food.

http://peggyhorn.blogspot.com/2010/01/brrrrits-cold-out-there.html
For Family and Friends. Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Brrrrit's Cold Out There. The weather has warmed up today. It's all the way up to 17 degrees. It's a "Mom" day today so I will be going out in it. Wondering what I will do while Mom's at the beauty shop. It may be too cold to run errands like I usually do! It's only a 10 minute drive from her house to the shop! This should be an interesting day–and it's just getting started. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Brrrrits Cold Out There.

http://peggyhorn.blogspot.com/2010/05/mothers-day.html
For Family and Friends. Sunday, May 2, 2010. It's Mother's Day a little early this year. We are headed to the Evangelical Press Association Convention this week in Dallas, and then to Mississippi to visit Ken's family, so we won't be home next week for Mother's Day. We decided to celebrate the day with my mother early and go to church with her and then take her to lunch at her choice of restaurant. She loves her cookies! All in all a great day spent together. Ken Horn's Personal Blog: Bad Old King John
http://kenhorn.blogspot.com/2015/06/bad-old-king-john.html
Ken Horn's Personal Blog. For friends, family and interested parties. Saturday, June 20, 2015. Bad Old King John. 800 years ago this week my ancestor signed one of the most important documents in world history. But he is definitely not to be admired. And I guarantee you are familiar with him. On June 15, 1215, King John met 40 rebellious barons in a field at Runnymede. He gave in to their demands to stave off a civil war, affixing his seal to Magna Carta. My 25 x great-gramps was a bad guy. But it wa...

Ken Horn's Personal Blog. For friends, family and interested parties. Thursday, April 25, 2013. Unfinished Landmarks Worth A Visit. It's one of five "Unfinished Landmarks Worth A Visit" according to gadling.com. When I saw the title I knew the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain, would be on the list. It was at the top of Gadling's list:. Peggy and I visited in 2007. Evidence that it was unfinished was quite obvious:. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Random Photo by Ken.
