July 26, 2012. Our son, Danny Wesley. There is SO much to write and not enough time to write it all. So for now here are some pictures and a few blurbs about our Danny. When I have more free time I'll share my birth story and experience in greater detail. This is me at home, in early labor. I was having a contraction so my belly looks more pointy - and hey, I was still able to smile through the contractions! Welcome to the world Danny Wesley! Sleeping with mama in the recovery room. November 17, 2012. We Have a Scooter! No, not a motorized one (although I'm sure Mike wishes we had one). Danny is figuring out how to scoot! If there is something just out of reach, like a binky or toy, he pulls his legs under and pushes his bum in the air and inches forward. It's so cute! He hasn't mastered the skill yet, but it looks like the beginning of learning how to crawl. Maybe Danny will take after his dad, who was an early mover. Going for the binky. Our little inch worm :). February 26, 2014. Don't Know Where to Start. It has been more than 6 months since my last post and I have no idea where to begin! I guess I'll just start typing and see what I come up with. Mike has less than 3 months left before he GRADUATES from law school and we cannot wait! It has been a long and difficult 3 years, but so worth it (hopefully). Danny is going on 20 months old! Rowdy, Taylor, Blake and Brooklyn. Rowdy, Taylor and Blake. Monday, December 17, 2012. Baby Coakley Has Arrived! So hard labor started at about 9:30pm last night. My main goal was to have a natural childbirth, but come 3am I decided that an epidural was the path for me, so I got one. Rowdy was AMAZING the entire time. He was so supportive and helpful. February 27, 2013. Baby love: Part 1. We've had a fun and busy past few months, so here I am with a quick update. Which will pretty much just be pictures because I only have a few minutes while Danny is playing nicely on the floor :). Mike and Danny being silly together (please excuse the mess). All tuckered out after playing at Grandma and Grandpa's. Winter break with Mike's grandparents. Danny with his great-grandma Katsuko. Danny's first snow (wearing his cute bear hat from Auntie V).
