Pear and Gorgonzola Cheesecake. 1/2 stick unsalted butter. 1/2 c packed light brown sugar. 4 ripe bosc pears – peeled, cored, sliced to 1/4 inch thick wedges. 1 TBSP lemon shoes. Two 8oz packages of cream cheese, softened. 1 1/2 cups crumbled gorgonzola cheese. 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce. Flip cake and pull off foil – serve with bread or crackers. 1 cup butter, unsalted. 1/2 tsp almond extract. 1 cup powdered sugar.
