FLDS Children Have Right To Breastmilk: Comment Here

http://fldsbreastmilk.blogspot.com/2008/04/comment-here.html

FLDS Children Have Right To Breastmilk. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Feel free to post your comments on the FLDS children's right to breast milk here. I think it is abusive and especially neglectful to the infants to be forcibly removed from their mothers who were breastfeeding them. Judge Walthers comment that everyday breastfeeding Texan mothers who end their maternity leave and go back to work must also leave their breastfed infants is NOT LOGICAL. Where did she go to law school? Did she miss logic class?

Meditating on Mormonism: The (False?) Faith/Doubt Divide

http://meditatingonmormonism.blogspot.com/2008/11/false-faithdoubt-divide.html

A compilation of musings about religion and religious life. Are faith and doubt truly and fundamentally incompatible? Because the concept of faith forms so fundamental a part our belief system, its contours merit careful attention. Likewise, the negative space surrounding it merits attention, which is the purpose of this post. . Very nice.I would go so far as to say that true knowledge can only come to those who are willing to give up everything they think they know. November 2, 2008 at 9:20 PM. 2 Any at...

That said, I wonder if we (more accurately if I) have become complacent or idolatrous in our (my) approaching God as a result of such experiences? Toward an LDS Cinema. To challenge, develop, define, and encourage a cinema influenced and created by Latter-Day Saint doctrines. Saturday, April 26, 2008. Ode to Nick Nolte/ On being 'Priesthoodly'. Why have I dedicated a post to Nick Nolte? Has he passed away? No, though I do feel some urgency in what I have to say about him. S entry on Charleton Heston. And its with these eyes that Nolte's performances hit so deep. Those performances of Nolte's seem to have everything with the priesthood. For some...

Toward an LDS Cinema. To challenge, develop, define, and encourage a cinema influenced and created by Latter-Day Saint doctrines. Wednesday, June 18, 2008. Mormon Paradoxes (i.e. literary fodder) part 1. In my view, an LDS world view is wrought with conflict and contradiction.
