Starting out teaching | Jim in Asia!

December 6, 2014. The plan was always to make a living out of teaching English, though the specifics were never too clear. Initially I was keen to get stuck right into classroom teaching, only to reconsider with the opportunity to do some online tutoring ( fluentify.com. Teaching grade 1’s in my first week. I̵...

Drinks with friends from my first visit on my first night back in Vietnam, about 15 months ago. Lazy afternoons on coffee shop balconies. Why on earth am I tiring of this? June 18, 2015. On a slightly more upbeat note from my previous post, I’m currently in Bangkok, and pretty much loving every minute! Waiting to board, a few hours after booking the flight! The circumstances which lead us here were far from ideal, but spontaneous travel is always good, and we’re making the most of a tricky situation. Any of my friends in Vietnam will be well aware of the notorious internet cable eating sharks that cause us all so many headaches. No, seriously. Work space in our hostel.

My new motorbike – part 1 | Jim in Asia!
http://jiminasia.com/my-new-motorbike-part-1
My new motorbike – part 1. September 24, 2014. I haven’t posted on here for a little while for a couple of reasons. Vietnamese coffee – Delicious, but no crazy story. I didn’t want to risk missing out again so sent...
