Wednesday, August 17, 2011. I wanted to do something different for my dad's birthday cake. While looking for fun toppings my eyes stopped on wafers. MMM! I made him a chocolate layer cake with wafers in the middle and on top. SO GOOD! I made it the night before and the wafers got a little soft in the middle, but I don't think that ruined the effect. My chocolate cake recipe is probably one of my favorite recipes. I could eat it without frosting and just smelling it hits the spot. Saturday, January 1, 2011.

Tuesday, September 30, 2008. We were at Pick up Stix this weekend and saw the brownie they are currently selling. Covered in a chocolatey topping and chocolate shavings, mmm, it looked good. So I wanted to make a vegan one. I didn't have time to make up the shavings so I used chocolate chips instead. For the topping I actually just added some cocoa to my twinkie cream and wahlah! Tuesday, February 15, 2011. I feel like a lot of people dislike Valentine's Day. I know why they do, but really? It's not that much different from other holidays that emphasize a feeling. So whatever, I like it! This year I made sugar cookies for some pals and my pigs. I definitely ate a lot of the dough, as we all know eating dough and batter are always my favorite part of baking. Friday, March 27, 2009. So things have been busy in my land, and that's not going to change anytime soon! However, I'm still managing to make yummy vegan dinners and desserts.
