LONG HAUL TEAM drivers Zygote and Willow. Sunday, October 30, 2011. Sliding the fifth wheel under the trailer. Connecting service and emergency brake air lines. Red is trailer brake; yellow is tractor brake. Air operated fifth wheel release and fifth wheel slide. Took some time this week to focus on some problem areas in the truck for us and try to come up with some solutions. Saturday, October 29, 2011. LONG HAUL TEAM drivers Zygote and Willow. Sunday, July 24, 2011. A painting of my soul, of sorts. The day I cooked the spaghetti sauce, the aroma wafted out into the front yard. The jars are sealed with the sweet goodness of paste tomatoes, walla walla onions, garlic, basil, rosemary, oregano, fresh ground pepper and pink himalayan salt. Thursday, July 14, 2011. I love the wind turbines. You google it. and there I educated myself on the phenomenon of Wind Turbine Syndrome. Heading to Los Angeles, one of ...

LONG HAUL TEAM drivers Zygote and Willow. Friday, June 29, 2012. Ravenden, AR Population 511. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. This week we've been asked to go to Mountain Home, Arkansas instead of our regular route to Chicago. It's been a much welcome change of scenery. I suppose the Indiana corn will continue to grow whether we are driving past to watch it or not. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cooking in a Semi. LONG HAUL TEAM drivers Zygote and Willow. Saturday, July 28, 2012. I went with Willow to the chiropractor and it was awful. There was little that could be done with that much pain, any attempt at adjustment left her in agony. It was clear she needed to see her doctor. We arranged that I would go out solo that week while Willow tried to recuperate and arrange appointment to find out what was going on. And like her book page on Facebook here. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. LONG HAUL TEAM drivers Zygote and Willow. Sunday, November 20, 2011. We are home early this weekend for our reset. We got home last night around 8:30 after eating dinner with Willow's youngest son. We even got a chance to catch a movie, The Help, in Asheville. We both enjoyed the film. It was nice not to get home in the middle of the night and it certainly made getting ourselves ready for the upcoming week not feel like such a onerous task. Thursday, November 3, 2011. Life is way good! Cooking in a Semi.

LONG HAUL TEAM drivers Zygote and Willow. Tuesday, March 26, 2013. It's high time this blog be updated. It's a sad story. Last July, I began experiencing muscle spasms in my neck and shoulders, mostly my right shoulder and right side of my neck. I didn't have much choice but to continue driving through them. If it's your shift, it's your shift, right? In September 2012 the book about my hike on the Appalachian Trail. And in both Nook and Kindle versions also. Someday I may be inspired to put out an M...
