Inspired by Mrs. McGregor. Sunday, September 19, 2010. Compassion. sympathetic consciousness of other's distress, together with a desire to alleviate it. I have actually spent quite a bit of random time in the past thinking about this word. Especially when I was in nursing school. is it not the word that should describe a Prudent Nurse? It is what I have built my whole career around. Ironically enough, I have never once actually considered it when thinking about God! But what fit how my. Prayer. a pe...

Kim ~ A blog in progress ... (Aren't we all).: Help yourself!
http://kimzroadblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/help-yourself.html
Kim A blog in progress . (Aren't we all). Monday, May 2, 2011. I had a brief visit with one of my new hospice patients, today. She's still in her home. Though it doesn't look very much like a home. Not as in how you and I would view/describe a typical home. There were no sofa's, stuffed chairs, walls of photo's, personal items, drapes, carpets, cozy little things to make the room and house say "Welcome! Our family lives here! Come join us for a while.". She could no longer move on her own, or speak on he...

Kim ~ A blog in progress ... (Aren't we all).: Dog-Sitting
http://kimzroadblog.blogspot.com/2013/09/dog-sitting.html
Kim A blog in progress . (Aren't we all). Thursday, September 19, 2013. We're dog-sitting for a couple of days. And it is sooo much fun! I never realized I was a 'dog' person, as they say, until we took in a rescue a couple of years ago. Oooh, was that neat! We got a gem of a girl. We named her 'Ginger' because of her beautiful red blonde coloring. She knew commands, wasn't a table moocher, was house trained, she was pretty, and smart, and didn't chew our 'stuff', she was PERFECT! Lord knows we loved her!

Who am I kidding? I made plenty of cards and crafts:) I just didn't post anything! I also got hooked on the Owl Punch from SU!

Inspired by Mrs. McGregor. Thursday, March 25, 2010. A post for my sister. Everyone knows I will do ANYTHING for my sisters. When they ask, I hook them up. This is for you, Laurie. Travel journal post. Since you are making one for your trip to Israel. Excuse me, 2 other readers, as I address my sister here. It was a YEAR before our trip! It was too long, so I had to cut off 1/2 of the moose! I tied the "coins" on the top of the rings just because I thought they were fun. This is why you REALLY need it!
