Where We’ve Been. Out of Office Messages. Laquo; Homecoming Questions. March 26, 2011 by katiegruver. It was a pretty amazing weekend last weekend here in Tenuver land. Where Seattlites go to give thanks to the Sun Gods for taking an early shift on what we hope will become their full time job in a few months. In the evening, there was much shouting and beer-drinking as I watched my first derby. A strawberry shake and fries at The Counter. But he asked me, “What do you worry about? No, not mud. I wish...

Shopping Sadness | This and That
https://vitty10.wordpress.com/2011/10/21/shopping-sadness
Whatever pops into my head. Usually not much. October 21, 2011. My friend and I are going out on the town tomorrow night. She didn’t have anything appropriate to wear so we marched on down to the local fat girl clothing store. Now, I hate shopping, but the clothes in this store make me happy. It’s wonderful to see a company taking fat women’s fashion needs seriously and not offering up an endless selection of muumuus and clothes for your grandmother. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Wishing me ill | This and That
https://vitty10.wordpress.com/2011/09/07/wishing-me-ill
Whatever pops into my head. Usually not much. September 7, 2011. When I look back at pictures of me when I was a child I can see that I was not fat. I was taller and bigger than the other girls in my class but I wouldn’t have considered myself to be fat. Well, not that fat. I was strong and athletic and healthy. I don’t blame my mom for her behaviour at all, that’s what happens when you live in a society that views fat people as defective. But I wish she wouldn’t have wished me ill. Can you think of any ...
