Sunday, September 30, 2012. My mother- the next Martha Stewart? Now that my mom is retired, I joke that she is channeling her inner Martha Stewart. And I just love it! The weekend that Chad and I went to Iowa City for the Iowa/UNI game, my mom came to our house to watch Payton. They had a very fun day and did some neat crafts. These are a couple canvases that they made. They also made one for my grandparents, but I didn't get a picture of that one. I have to say, I am really enjoying getting these crafts!

Saturday, March 30, 2013. We had a fabulous spring break! It was so nice to be able to have some much needed relaxation and family time! Here are some photos of how we spent the last week. We slept in, stayed in our jammies for a good portion of the morning, and had a pretty lazy day. We did manage to be a little productive and made some "Bunny Bait." :). Sunday, January 27, 2013. Links to this post. Last Sunday we came home from church to find Relay like this. Chad had his snowpants lying on the guest bed, and apparently Relay had climbed up on the bed and somehow got tangled up in the snowpants. We left for church around 8:45 and then did our usual Walmart run afterwards, so we didn't get home until around 12:30 PM. Not sure how long he had been tangled, but he didn't seem to mind too much. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. So I think this is the first night since last Sunday that we've actually been home with nothing on the agenda. Last Sunday was Mother's Day and we traveled to Knoxville for supper with my parents, Aaron and Jess and family, and my grandparents. We had a lovely meal and it was nice to spend time together. Monday night Payton had her st. Tuesday night we were at Chad's track awards banquet. Thursday night Chad was at State Track Meet. Sunday we went to Sesame Street Live- so fun!
