The Wandering Moose: November 2008
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 24, 2008. Not totally but getting closer! The trees are flocked white with hoars frost, snowflakes are dancing on the breeze and the ground is slowly growing a blanket of white. Not fast enough for me though! I love all the Christmas lights when there is snow on the ground. I have a new snowmobile just gnawing at me each time I walk by it begging to be riden! I want to put up my Christmas tree today, wonder how nuts everyone would think I was? Didn't we just do this?

The Wandering Moose: So much for resolutions!
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2009/01/so-much-for-resolutions.html
Monday, January 5, 2009. So much for resolutions! One I secretly made to myself was to blog each and everyday, something, even the stupidest tidbit. Missed a few days so I guess you all know why I usually pass on the resolutions! I collapsed yesterday in a post holiday coma. The constant running and partying the prior two weeks caught up to me I guess. It was all in good fun though ;). Our winter pattern continues, warm up, snow like mad then we are revisited by the arctic express! More on that cold.

The Wandering Moose: March 2008
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Friday, March 28, 2008. Feeling like a child again. And not in a good way. This is my rambling, bitching, I don't have that many readers so it really doesn't matter anyway self vent. I feel guilt, the same guilt I used to feel as a kid, my Mother is the master of making me feel this way. Almost like she needed to hear me beg her to come back, I did not beg, but she told my sister that I did. Jim even noticed last night that something was bothering me, that I didn't seem the same. I took benedryl. I sugge...

The Wandering Moose: February 2008
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 27, 2008. I'll do it tomarrow. That has most certainly been my favorite saying lately. Procrastination has definitely been my motto for the past couple of weeks. Perhaps a small part is spring fever/cabin fever. Not that I don't like winter, just sick of the roller coaster of temps we've had here the past month. Somehow I need to get organized, I've tried the flylady advice without much success. Perhaps I need to re-visit her site and give it another go. I think it all ties into the s...

The Wandering Moose: July 2008
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 19, 2008. Do they not now how? I on the otherhand had a Mom that expected me to do chores. I washed dishes every night I was a kid, I mowed the lawn, hung out the clothes, dusted and vacumned. I'm raising my daughter the way my Mom raised me. Teaching her chores. What is the right way? Just a thought I had on my mind is all. Thursday, July 17, 2008. There's only one good thing. About 5 AM and that is silence! So anyway here I am, it's 6AM now. Katie goes to the dentist at 9:30 then has...

The Wandering Moose: January 2009
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Somehow in the hustle and bustle of the Christmas season my camera ended up on the floor, then under the recliner. Not under the recliner in a way that would protect it but in the perfect place for it to be hit with the frame and crack the LCD screen. It will not even turn on now! I'm was notorious for leaving it sit on the end table in the living room so it was always handy to capture those incredibly funny Kyle moments. The question is, what should I buy? Help me out here!

The Wandering Moose: December 2008
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 21, 2008. I am officially DONE with my Christmas shopping! I paid cash for EVERYTHING and only 6 things left to wrap.bring it on baby! The big thing is when do we open our presents at home? Not that I bought that much but I'm certainly not going to travel with them. I also don't want to leave them wrapped in the house while I'm gone, seems like an invitation for trouble. Hmm this needs some thinking! Friday, December 19, 2008. It sooo pays to NOT do any Christmas baking! So this morning ...

The Wandering Moose: Do you remember?
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2009/01/do-you-remember.html
Friday, January 9, 2009. Not the one at the school but your very first home PC? I'm a product of the 80's, we had Apple computers at our school with the old DOS promts. Excitement was playing the game "Oregon Trail" in study hall. Was one of those old prompt typing games.we thought it was kick ASS! Wow how times have changed! Our very first computer was a Packard Bell desk-top. I'm not sure I could store more than 50 of my current photos on it without filling up the hard-drive! It was crazy awesome!

The Wandering Moose: Are we raising wimpy kids?
http://thewanderingmoose.blogspot.com/2009/01/are-we-raising-wimpy-kids.html
Sunday, January 11, 2009. Are we raising wimpy kids? I remember when I was a kid, growing up on the vast openness of southern Minnesota, cold north winds and blinding snow. They would cancel school during those big blows, sometimes for days at a time. The gravel roads would drift shut as fast as the plows could clear the roads and it was just to dangerous to transport half the school population in this small farming community. My children hardly ever go outside, unless I force them too. This coming w...
