Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Today I skipped some work to make a gingerbread house with Reed at preschool. From the looks of the gingerbread houses you could tell who's was the only one made with a Dad instead of an organized, decoration-talented Mom. But I'm ok with that! I frequently have moments with the kids that are so sweet and special that I feel the need to record them. Today I had one. Me (yelling over the sound of the wind): "I sure love you lots! The kids decided that 35 candles wouldn't fit on a cake so we had to get a 3 and a 5 instead. The kids just got out of the shower and are in their pjs for anyone who is concerned that we dress them in Spongebob shirts. Don't worry, Kentucky hasn't gotten to us that badly yet. Just enough to allow them to dress in Spongebob to go to sleep. Half way to 70 and looking better every year!
