My family pictured in front of our first log cabin in 1987. Welcome to my web page, covering 30 years of building cabins. We lived in the Cascade foothills of the Pacific Northwest, in the hills behind Duvall, Washington. There we learned to live without electricity or indoor plumbing for 12 years. If you have ever thought of buying a piece of land and building a cabin, I hope the images on this web page provide some inspiration. Peeling the logs is the hardest work of all.
