The Long Way There. Just another WordPress.com site. 1 Package peameal bacon. Fry (or grill) Bacon. Slice onion, tomato and cheese. Build sandwich placing cheese first, followed by bacon, onion and tomato, topping with lettuce. Wrap sandwiches in heavy duty foil. (Double wrap if necessary). 1- Arrange camp fire and allow to burn down, keeping a thick bed of hot coals, place cooking grate over coals. They will be HOT! Use heat proof gloves or tongs to remove from heat! 2 Lb shredded beef. 2 tbls olive oil.
