Wednesday, July 30 th, 2014. The glorious region of Ladakh, in the Himalayas of Northern India, is by far my favorite place I have ever been in this world. I have been trekking in Ladakh (and neighboring areas of Zanskar and Spiti) three summers out of the past 8. Trekking between villages, walking 4 to 6 hours a day, crossing high mountain passes and gorgeous scenery along the way. Now THAT’s what I’m talking about! Happy New Year to all my friends and family around the world. A year ago today my father (‘Rockbox’) dropped me off at the airport in Louisville, Kentucky. It has been exactly one year since I started this installment of my Lexpedition adventures. In many ways, the year has flown by. And in other ways, it seems like years since I left. A la vuelta de la esquina. Domingo, 24 de abril de 2011. Cogimos la ruta 1095 para dirigirnos a Pai. Esta ruta es la que une Chiang Mai con Mae Hong Son. Consejo: mejor hacerla con el estomago vacio o con una sobredosis de biodramina. El paisaje hasta llegar allí es muy bonito, según ali ya que Parra sufre de narcolepsia en cuanto sube a un vehículo (aviones incluidos). Puente de bambú que cruzábamos para llegar a la cabaña. Vistas desde la cabaña. Nuestra cabañita y nuestra moto. El collar pesa 5 kilos.

A la vuelta de la esquina. Miércoles, 30 de marzo de 2011. Para empezar, decir que Ana Torroja no tiene razón. Bombay de paraíso no tiene nada. Es una gran ciudad. Hasta ahora las ciudades que hemos visitado no lo parecían, pero esta sí; con edificios altos, grandes centros comerciales, mucho tráfico,etc. Pasamos 4 días, el calor ya se hacía notar y sudábamos como pollos todo el rato. Destacar de Mumbai, la gran cantidad de taxis que hay, y lo mejor de todo es que son muy baratos! Pero llena, llena!
