Saturday, July 12, 2008. Daddy and Grandma spent the last 10 days teaching the kids to swim while camping in Vegas. It was so hot that they were in the pool everyday. Its amazing how much they learned in that short time. Here are a few videos of them performing for mommy. Saturday, January 10, 2009. We had a wonderful Christmas season with marshall's parents here to visit for 2 weeks. We travelled all over the UK. We went to the lake District -which is absolutely gorgeous - even in the dead of winter, and Scotland (see castle photos above), and the coast, and tons more! It was a wonderful and busy trip. After we took them back to the airport on New Year's Eve day- we headed home and like party poopers- went to bed at 9:30 pm. We were tuckered out from all the fun!

Thursday, December 4, 2008. Beginning to look a lot like Christmas. It's that time of year again. The day after Thanksgiving we got out the tree and nativity and put up all the decor. We also got out the Christmas music and movies. I later found out Marshall had been sneaking and listening to Christmas tunes when I was not around- the tradition is to get them out the day after Thanksgiving - but Marshall started early this year :). UmmmI' m sorry, who gave you permission to do that already?

We stayed near Glasgow and went to see Glasgow Cathedral, Edinburgh Castle, Dumbarton Castle, Stirling Castle, a Scottish museum and more! Last week Marshall re-enlisted in the US Air Force for the last time (since he retires in 2.5 years) This was the coolest re-enlistment ever. It is normally held in a conference room with a flag, but Marshall got special permission and did a slew of paperwork to be re-enlisted on the wing of a fighter jet. Too fun!
