Dave's Journey: May 2013
http://davepryce.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Monday, May 27, 2013. 65279;. Wing and Wing for Breakfast. The approach to Port Stephens is arguably the most spectacular of any port on the NSW coast. Even in the dark, light up by the full moon, the massive headlands and islands that surround the entrance are very impressive. A bit after 2200 I dropped the anchor in Shoal Bay, tuckered out, I packed up the sails, ate and was asleep in minutes. Thursday, May 16, 2013. Red Sails in the Sunset. If Only I could fold sails up that small.

http://davepryce.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 19, 2011. 65279;. Sunset from the Aurora Australis Helideck. I am quite excited about this summer in Anatrctica which will present an opportunity to explore the coastline in the Casey region as well as heading inland to the plateau. Plans are already formulating in my mind for next year and at this stage I am keen to sail. North to the Great Barrier Reef for some beachcombing. This seems like the perfect compliment to a summer on ice. Labels: Gan Fondo, Cycling Antarctica.

Dave's Journey: November 2013
http://davepryce.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 16, 2013. Going to the Nut House. The Nut House nestled in the valley. The valley was originally the site of a large small fruits farm which fell victim to the 1967 bush fires. Word has it that the couple who had the farm, committed suicide shortly afterwards. It must have been devastating but the house miraculously survived. Not so Grand Designs. Jimmy Barnes apparently used to hide out on the neighbouring property until the locals worked out who he was and he had to move on.

Dave's Journey: Zero Waste
http://davepryce.blogspot.com/p/stats-tech.html
Wandering around the world I am increasingly aware of our waste turning up on the coastlines, entering the oceanic food chain and littering our roadsides. I love to indulge in some beachcombing but the more rubbish I collect, the more I realise that the solution is to address the issue at source. That source is us and our overwhelming waste.
