The Joneses. Trying to Keep Up. Monday, May 23, 2011. A Busy, Yet Productive Weekend. Well this past weekend was a true introduction to a Georgia summer - SUNNY, HOT, and HUMID! Man it was hot! Sunday was one of those days when you really couldn't do much to stay cool. and we decided it'd be a great day to go shopping for furniture. But to keep things chronological, allow me to begin on Saturday. Saturday morning we awoke bright and early to participate in a 5K run/walk to support the Atlanta Mission.

So since we've gotten married and had our own place to decorate, I've kind of gotten into home decor and I follow a few blogs that like to do the same. under budget! Here is the first big DIY project. It ended up costing about $60. and that's with having to buy a staple gun. a one time purchase. I used these blogs. they rock! I made this with my mom one day over Fall Break! Oh yeah. bring on the power tools! I felt SO cool using a power drill!

Friday, January 13, 2012. We had a wonderful Christmas. We were blessed beyond belief! Charles and I were blessed to be with family and our children at the home. We spent many days together, playing games and watching "A Christmas Story". I Love my little family and feel very blessed to have it. Those we spent time with.
