The hayes' happenins'. Our homeschool happenins'. This is a blog I am starting to keep a journal of our homeschooling journey. This has been our first “official” year of homeschooling. We have been utilizing Classical Conversations for our first year of kindergarten. We supplement this year with just the three basic subjects of math, writing, and phonics. The Day I Left My Door Open. October 22, 2016. Today is the first beautiful fall day in Florida. Temperature is in the 60’s so the first thing I did was open every window and door. Instead of showing up all sparkly and shiny (clean on the outside and junk on the inside), what if we showed up aware that we are desperately sinful and desperate for a Savior? Sunday, January 2, 2011. Preparations for a Bountiful Christmas (pt1/3). Eric and I spent the Christmas season last year getting ready to head to Costa Rica. It was beautiful. It wasn't Christmas. So this year, we decided to embrace all things Christmas, and this holiday surpassed all expectations! Denver had an unseasonably warm December, which made for an enjoyable Winterfest on S. Pearl St. Have I mentioned I love my neighborhood? Mimi and Pops got Addy her own car! Who says they have to wait until 16?

Monday, April 17, 2017. You may remember that last year, we started seeds in eggshells. That worked great for starting just a few seeds, but since we were going much. Bigger this year, we needed something that could hold more seeds and not quite as time consuming :) I ended up ordering starter cells similar to these. We're doing something new this year with our garden - starting (nearly) everything from seed! Placed an order, and they arrived in just a few days! And now, we cross our fingers and wait....

Wash and Fold service is provided through our locker system. After dropping off your oder, we will carefully wash your items in their own machines using only name brand detergent and fabric softener.
