A HOCK PERSPECTIVE: all you need is love

The life and times of the "North Carolina" Hocks. All you need is love. All we need is love. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We're just a couple of people with big dreams trying to make it on our own - we make music, drink a lot of coffee, cook our own dinner, work too much and play too little, watch athletics more than we participate, love our family, love our friends, love our planet, and search for the beauty in every day. A HOCK PERSPECTIVE: oh, how quickly things can change
http://hockperspective.blogspot.com/2012/10/oh-how-quickly-things-can-change.html
The life and times of the "North Carolina" Hocks. Oh, how quickly things can change. Change is a rather simple word - only six letters long, easily recognizable in print, and familiar to everyone since we were small children (remember watching caterpillars "change" into butterflies in preschool? And yet, change can easily become one of the most complex actions we experience. I am reminded of this every single day. Fingers crossed*) I no longer am part of the academic routine. I *gulp* work at home. Inste...

A HOCK PERSPECTIVE: 03.2009
http://hockperspective.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
The life and times of the "North Carolina" Hocks. SNOW DAY IN NC. It's almost that special time of the year. And I've been doing a lot of self analysis as to my cleaning habits. This swiffer sweeper that I am in LOVE with - really isn't so eco-friendly since every time I use it I end up throwing away a couple of non-biodegradable cloths. And you know, good old Tide laundry detergent must have some horrible chemicals in it, since its been around long before "being green" was even a recognized phrase!

http://hockperspective.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
The life and times of the "North Carolina" Hocks. Everything is bigger in Texas. And it's true. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of their teeny little trees - but take my word, they look like taller than normal bushes. Definitely not trees. Which leads to the more important news. The life and times of the "North Carolina" Hocks. Is anyone still out there? Ok I have been terrible about posting on this thing. Noah has been worse. *wink* But I have an excuse - trying to graduate! So here is a visual description of what the past year has been like. On a good day, I feel like this. And on a bad day, I feel like this. Makes you want to go back to graduate school, doesn't it? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Waiting on the World to Change. When I See You Smile. The life and times of the "North Carolina" Hocks. MOUSE WARS - EPISODE II. The battle has now ended. After discovering yet another destructive reminder that I had a little friend in my house, things took a turn for the worst. I had no option left, than to set death traps. We found ones that look like a little cave. where the mouse crawls in, eats the bait and gets whacked - hidden from outsiders view. The real question, however, was what to use as bait. I have a fearless mouse in my house. Before ...
