Thursday, October 8, 2015. This summer completely flew by. So much happened that I wish I had of had the time to blog more throughout it but it's amazing how difficult it can be to find time to sit down at the computer. It was such a great summer though and I don't want to forget all the awesome things we were able to do, so this is just a big random post of pictures really. Thursday, November 26, 2015. Brett and Zoé's Wedding! Way back in September we took a short trip to Saskatoon for my brothers wedding. It was our first somewhat *long* drive as a family so I was a little nervous but it ended up going so well and we had such a great time. Claire as expected had the hardest time being in the van, but I did my best to entertain her with lots of new toys, snacks and movies. But even with all my "surprises" for the kids, we still had to stop numerous times to burn some steam.

Life with Synovial Sarcoma. Sunday, 31 May 2015. I'm sitting in my living room by myself and it is silent for the first time in days. In the freezer are the remains of the copious amounts of food that has been prepared and delivered to our home by loving hands. On every other spare surface are bunches of flowers - all sizes and shapes - all beautiful tributes in various stages of decay. There was a service that I think she would have loved and we were overwhelmed that so many wanted to share this with us.

Life with Synovial Sarcoma. Friday, 3 October 2014. If you flee from pain and failure, then you run into them everywhere you go. If you find some way to open to them instead, then they may bring their hands from behind their backs and place flowers on your bed. I wish it was like following a recipe and that the steps were laid out and if you followed them it all just worked out, but it's not like that at all. How are we, with so little experience or knowledge, supposed to make these kind of decisions?
