Thank you, Audra. Thursday, December 23, 2010. Or this time of year can bring out the worst in folks. Or that is the goal i guess. Parking lots clogged and angry. Line ups and nuts and smiles not in sight. Gotta get them stuff and get home tonight. For to do a bunch of stuff for tomorrow and the next day. A lady in the line up said she wasn't gonna fight with no one. And that she wouldn't come out of her house after she gets home. My windows were steamed up in the car. I'm not trying to be cynical.

Thank you, Audra. Thursday, July 29, 2010. There is a butcher named jon that works out of the safeway near my home. He has beautiful rosy cheeks, smooth skin, wears a baseball hat with emblem, crisp white shirt and red tie. He is in his 80's. They tried to force him to retire. But he just kept on showing up for his shifts. A master butcher, a christian, alive as a teenager. He likes to make grand announcements over the speaker. He cracks bad jokes, making sure to tell the punchline twice as he laughs.

And lower myself onto the stones. This blanket no longer seems so fine to me. I wish to be married to the earth without. An old fantasy expands. As i pee in the cave.
