Brett and Alicia: December 2006
http://brettandalicia.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 27, 2006. Recently, Brett and I visited an orphanage near our apt. Sergeau, the preacher at the Xarkivska Church of Christ invited us to go with him. He has been visiting this orphanage for the last year. We went into a classroom where there were about 15 kids around the ages of 8-10. Of course Brett and I aren’t sure of everything that was said, but he had a school type lesson with them and he also incorporated Jesus into it. We helped the kids as they made their crafts. She got on t...

Brett and Alicia: March 2007
http://brettandalicia.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 28, 2007. I've taught Sunday school classes occasionally and I used to babysit, but it's so different going to the orphanage. First of all, I can't speak to the kids too much because of the language barrier. Secondly, I've never been around kids who do not have parents and who live in country where Orthodox is the main religion. Sunday, March 25, 2007. Tuesday, March 13, 2007. Prayers up for my dad, Charles White who had a heart attack this past weekend. Tuesday, March 13, he's sched...

Brett and Alicia: August 2006
http://brettandalicia.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 30, 2006. Well, we settled on an apartment today- finally. We had to pay more than we were expecting to, but it has all we need and doesn’t have anything we didn’t like. It’s seems safe and is aesthetically pleasing. It is big enough for us to host people coming in from. It is a short walk to our school. It’s an answer to our prayers and we are anxious only for the ways that God will be able to use this new space he has blessed us with. Saturday, August 26, 2006. Sunday, August 20, 2006.

Brett and Alicia: June 2006
http://brettandalicia.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 20, 2006. Monday, June 05, 2006. We have been in Abilene at ACU for the past 3 weeks taking Cultural Anthropology and Spiritual Formations classes. There was also a Mission's Focus that we participated in for 3 days. I believe that the Holy Spirit guided us to ACU for these 3 weeks, because I did not realize how important it was that we come. We will be in Ballinger, Texas, about an hour from ACU, until probably the end of this week. We are here visiting with the Ukraine Mission Board&#...
