Labor Day Weekend 2016. Sep 10th, 2016 at 11:27 AM. Snow, Snow, Snow! Dec 16th, 2016 at 10:28 AM. It feels like winter outside. According to the National Weather Service, it's 15 degrees here at 10:20 am. We're supposed to get some snow/sleet/ice this weekend, so we're planning to stay in and work on last-minute cleaning and presents. Dune / Children of Dune / Thor / The Dark World. Feb 4th, 2017 at 11:27 AM. Ever since I learned that the same composer arranged the soundtracks for Children of Dune. And Thor: The Dark World. I've been noticing similarities between the two stories:. Blue-on-blue eyes (fremen and dark elves). Desolate landscape (Arrakis and Svartalfheim). Lady Jessica and Frigga (the main characters' mothers who are very intelligent, brave, and mystical). Powerful liquids ("water of life" and the Aether). Time to learn :D.

Mar 31st, 2017 at 12:35 PM. Rainy day lunch at Subway to wrap up a long week. Mom's surgery went well and I'm so glad she's recovering *hugs* :) Thanks to Dad for being there to take care of her at the hospital and at home. And thanks also to a mother/sister from church who made us dinners this week. Jan 13th, 2017 at 3:04 PM. Dad and Mom took me to the farm show to celebrate my birthday this year! Over the river and through the woods. Jan 4th, 2017 at 8:59 AM. I got a chance to read from Isaiah chapter 7 at the Christmas Eve service and light candles with both Matt and Shelby. The choir sung beautifully, too. On Sunday morning we all sang carols, rang the church bells, and Dad preached about King Jesus. Thanks so much to my parents for making this a blessed Christmas holiday 3. Snow, Snow, Snow!
