Counting down the days. Do you remember making those great paper chains that you tear off a link each day as you count down to Christmas? I made one of those yesterday with some children I was babysitting. Well today, I think I’m going to make one for myself. Only I’m not counting down days until Christmas, but days until we travel to Ethiopia to pick up our kiddos! We have been given tentative travel dates of January 16-24th! Comments : 1 Comment. Ode to a very neglected blog. . . Oh the shame of days, ah weeks, no wait. . . over a month gone by with no posts! For anyone who still occasionally stops by our blog rest assured the Taylors have in fact NOT dropped off the face of the planet. We have not ceased to exist or crawled under some hole. Thursday, June 3, 2010. The rest of the story. The rest of our Memorial Day Weekend was spent in pure bliss. At my parent's house in St Clair Shores. My mom made luxurious Belgian waffles for breakfast. I got a tan laying out at 10:00am. Took Elijah to the Memorial Day parade. Followed by made from scratch margaritas. Devoured Art's yummo chicken and steak fajitas. With his homemade guacamole. Ended the night with a campfire reese's peanut butter s'mores. The kids love having grandma grandpa around!

The past year has been a very exciting year for both Aaron and I. Aaron proposed to me over Christmas break last January on top of Quoggy Jo Mountain in Presque Isle.
