Tails of the Wests

Wednesday, November 18, 2009. 6 months and counting. The past 6 months have been one incredible journey for Alan and me! Taylor has been a blessing in our lives and it is amazing to think how different she is now compared to the day she was born. She is growing and learning so much that it really makes you stop and think about what a miracle babies really are in this world. Her constant smiles warm our hearts and her little cries break them. Tails of the Wests: Our Little Punkin'

http://tailsofthewests.blogspot.com/2009/11/our-little-punkin.html

Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Here are some pictures of our little punkin' all dressed up for Halloween. A pumpkin is a pretty traditional Halloween costume but with good reason because all babies are so stinking cute as little gourds! We also went for a quick visit to a pumpkin patch here in Charleston simply for some photo ops, but it was so windy and cold (and the patch a little barren) that getting good pictures wasn't really in the plan for that day. Tails of the Wests: April 2009

http://tailsofthewests.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Saturday, April 4, 2009. Big Ol' Belly and Painting Fun. So yeah . . . my belly is big now. I'm at 33 weeks and now that I know I'm only going to 37, I couldn't imagine going all the way to 40! Sometimes I don't feel that big, but then Alan reminds me by saying, "Dern, you lookin' pregnant TODAY! He's so sweet. Minus the constant uncomfortable-ness, being pregnant isn't so bad. I haven't been too sick and I'm very grateful for that. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tails of the Wests. Tails of the Wests.

Tails of the Wests: October 2008

http://tailsofthewests.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

Sunday, October 26, 2008. Ok, finally decided to post something else again if only to stop the harrassment. At least I know I was missed :-) I think I've done one of these before, but they are quirky and fun so here I go again. Thanks for Alex for tagging me in her blog. 7 Random/Weird Facts about Anna. This is isn't necessarily random or weird, but I had to announce it somehow and #1 just seemed fitting. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Tails of the Wests. Tails of the Wests. Tails of the Wests: Our Future Tiger

http://tailsofthewests.blogspot.com/2009/06/our-future-tiger.html

Thursday, June 25, 2009. Taylor is destined to be a Clemson Tiger, considering that her Mom, Dad, an Aunt, an Uncle, and a Grandfather all went to Clemson. Given that, we had to get the standard baby picture wearing Clemson gear. She never stood a chance to be anything other than a Clemson fan. Look at that hair! Cant wait to get my hands on her next week-end! June 27, 2009 at 1:44 PM. June 27, 2009 at 9:33 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tails of the Wests. Tails of the Wests. Sites that I Enjoy.

South Carolina Family Fun: September 2008

http://scfamilyfun.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html

Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Sam is 3 months old today! He is such a big boy and I cannot believe how much he has changed in just 13 weeks. Sam is still a lovable and easy going baby. Now he is smiling and laughing all the time. His Daddy can make him chuckle like no one else can. I love it! Sam is also sleeping through the night and has been doing so since he was 10 weeks old. When I say sleeping through the night I mean 11 hours! He goes to bed around 7:30 and wakes up around 6-6:30. It's fabulous!

South Carolina Family Fun: November 2008

http://scfamilyfun.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 22, 2008. Fun at Five Months. Sam is 5 months old! I'm posting late because I have been so exhausted the past couple of weeks, I couldn't stay awake long enough after the boys went to sleep to do anything on the computer. I've even been neglecting Facebook. We broke out the excersaucer. Mike and I thought it was the greatest thing when we first got it. It was a built in babysitter! Sam has yet to become excited about it, but trust me, we'll keep trying! Sunday, November 9, 2008. Mart a...

South Carolina Family Fun: January 2009

http://scfamilyfun.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, January 27, 2009. I've had been worrying about Sam's gross motor skills. He was slow to roll over and only just recently starting rolling from tummy to back. Yesterday was the first time he sat up all by himself with no support! Sam's still wobbly, but he's getting so strong! He seems to like his new vantage point. I even gave him a bath for the first time in the big tub tonight. Doesn't he look adorable in the penguin towel? Thursday, January 22, 2009. Let's Go Fly A Kite! When Sam's gift was r...

South Carolina Family Fun: Walt Disney World

http://scfamilyfun.blogspot.com/2010/11/walt-disney-world.html

Sunday, November 7, 2010. Last week, on October 31, we left for our Disney vacation. It was Michael's first trip and I was so excited to take him! WDW is probably one of my favorite places in the world, and I couldn't wait for my four year old son to experience it for the first time! We got an awesome room at the Wilderness Lodge. We had a 1 bedroom villa which was so spacious and hands down the best hotel room I've ever had! Michael posing outside the Lodge in his Halloween costume. After breakfast, we ...

South Carolina Family Fun: Summertime!

http://scfamilyfun.blogspot.com/2009/05/summertime.html

Saturday, May 23, 2009. Okay, I'm the worst blogger ever! No updates in over a month! The months of April and May have brought many changes in our house. Sammy started physical therapy and his progress is amazing! In just three weeks he's gone from not being able to move anywhere to crawling all over the place! He's even pulling up! Summer has officially arrived! We've been spending so much time at the beach and out on the boat. We are so fortunate to live where we do. Water, water everywhere!

http://dankmandave.blogspot.com/2009/01/train-trestle-fire_11.html

All about life on the mean streets of the VCG, Houston, TX. Where firewood can be found, even in the middle of the city. Sunday, January 11, 2009. The Sunday after the New Year, Heather and I got an opportunity to witness something pretty crazy. Railroad tracks used to leave the train yard north of our house and head east towards downtown Houston.  . That track is no longer in use but there is still an old wooden train trestle that crosses the bayou.  . Fire trucks were still arriving when we got there s...
