November. | Quietly.
https://hokkaidostory.wordpress.com/2012/11/11/november
It’s November already. Almost a month since I started writing again. This sounds cliche, but time flies! As for now, it’s time to rest my brain. I hope to continue writing on this space. More coming up soon…. Back in Sapporo. →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Fill in your details below or click an icon to log in:. Address never made public). Back in Sapporo. | Quietly.
https://hokkaidostory.wordpress.com/2013/04/05/back-in-sapporo
The memories of four years ago have really faded, memories that I tried so hard to preserve when I first went home after my exchange. Fighting so many insecurities to come back here, just to find that most of my memories of this place are gone. Such is life. And two blankets on top. The gas man came this morning and I was glad to have hot water and heater now. Hope things get better and going soon. On a quiet rainy night. →. One Response to “Back in Sapporo.”. Starting over again. | Quietly.
https://hokkaidostory.wordpress.com/2012/10/18/starting-over-again
The lament is always there, at the back of my mind. I do not read as much and as quickly as I hope to. I get distracted too easily by life. I do not write as much as I should. Words elude me most of the time, existing in fragments in my thoughts, that is, when I allow them to penetrate my mind. Has it got something to do with the fact that I stopped channelling my own thought bubbles unto this blog? Where did April go? November. →. One Response to “Starting over again.”. Job-hunting. | Quietly.

I should be worrying about things such as the rest of my research interviews, my July 22 presentation in Japanese, and finally, my thesis writing. But yet, I went to worry about job-hunting instead. Where did April go? | Quietly.

Where did April go? Two months ago, I had been lamenting on the impossibilities of writing my graduate seminar essay, worrying about working together with the field work prof, and basically having to juggle all the school things with life. I also hope to keep up with the blogging. =) Till the next post! Pottery amidst the chaos of school. Starting over again. →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. On a quiet rainy night. And suddenly I had the urge to write in my forgotten blog. When hydrangeas and lavenders and sunflowers emerge onto the land of Hokkaido, it would be time for me to go home. About | Quietly.
https://hokkaidostory.wordpress.com/about
I am a Japanese Studies Graduate from NUS who spent a year doing student exchange in Hokkaido University, hence the birth of this weblog. That was in October 2007. I have since graduated and have stepped into the working society. I gave up dreams for other dreams; knowing one day I would be able to fulfil those dreams once again, just a matter of when. 2 Responses to “About”. February 24, 2011 at 2:08 pm. Still trying to catch up with readings, coping with the academic rigour, and trying to stay sane. I have yet to settle into a routine, but I think that’s fine. Routines aren’t that good for life, anyway. 27th birthday came and went, just like that. This year’s a bit special, a bit different. A memorable one, a thankful one. =). How will the year turn out to be? I can only pray and hope, and work towards it. First week of school! 2012not so happy after all. And that was like an epiphany of sorts. Is the w...
