Tuesday, August 20, 2013. I've been craving zucchini bread. I've made almost everything that you can with Zucchini, since I have 2 plants in my garden and a co-worker of Matt's gave him 2! I ended up with enough for 2 loaves. I made Parmesan Zucchini bread, which the recipe can be found here. With a few other Zucchini recipes from last year. 1 cup shredded zucchini. 1 cup light brown sugar. 2 tablespoons white sugar. 189; cup vegetable oil. 2 tsp vanilla extract. 1½ cups flour. 189; tsp baking power.

Thursday, September 5, 2013. Fill the Cookie Jar! This months theme for Fill The Cookie Jar is Fall Favorites. Which happens to be my favorite time of year! I decided to make Pumpkin Cookies with Maple Glaze. Who does not love Pumpkin? Pumpkin Cookies with Maple Frosting. 1/2 C brown sugar. 1/2 C white sugar. 1 C canned pumpkin. 1 tsp baking soda. 1 tsp baking powder. 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice. Preheat oven to 350 °. Cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar in a large bowl. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

It's been a while since we both had a week day off together. We decided to go to Pamela's Diner. In Squirrel Hill, hoping there was not a line out the door since it was raining out. Matt ordered the Tex Mex Omelet with wheat toast and lyonnaise potatoes. I ordered the Spinach and Feta Omelet, English Muffin and the lyonnaise potatoes. Friday - Pork Ribs.

A Guy, a Girl, and a Dinner Plate. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Project: Food Budget: Week 4. Fage Yogurt (a splurge for us! Diced tomatoes and tomato paste. Frank's Hot Sauce (a necessity). Eggs from the farm! A pizza from Domino's. 2 delicious meals from Raising Cane's. We were out of several staples and had a little money from last week, so we didn't worry too much about sticking strictly to the budget this week. We had a few splurges (like farm eggs and Fage yogurt). Pork loin, sauerkraut, and turnips.

Wednesday, January 9, 2013. The past 3 nights with dinner it did not look pretty but tasted awesome. Tonight I finally got back in the groove and dinner looked and tasted good. I found the following recipe on Pinterest, my new addiction :). Tortellini with Mushroom Sauce. 1 bag frozen cheese tortellini. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 8 ounces sliced cremini mushrooms. 2 garlic cloves, sliced. Sunday, April 28, 2013. Today the hubby and I were/still being lazy as lazy as can be. It's been raining and cloudy out all day. We both felt like we needed to do something so as I made dinner the hubby cleaned the bathroom. I think I got the better end of the deal ;). I was going to make perogies sauteed with onions but then I saw a recpie on the back of the box and of course I tweeked it. Tree's Italian Perogie Bake. 1 box Mrs. T's 4 Cheese Perogies. 1/2 jar pasta sauce (8 oz.). 1 bag fresh spinach.
