Perkins Report...: August 2009
http://perkinsreport.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 27, 2009. Luke's 6 months old! Luke had his 6-month check up yesterday. He's now 19 lbs and 26.5" long. He's supposed to start having "real" food, beginning with rice cereal, but the few times I've tried to feed him, he snaps his mouth shut as soon as the spoon comes near. Either that, or he blows raspberries and sprays the cereal all over me! Gotta love that. Happy half-Birthday, Luke! Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Eliana's 1st Day of School! It was so much fun! Thursday, August 13, 2009.

Perkins Report...: October 2009
http://perkinsreport.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 12, 2009. So tonight at dinner, Stu and I are trying to convince Eliana to give green beans another chance. She knows she doesn't get dessert ("bassert" - it's too cute to correct her) unless she finishes her dinner. Stu: "Eliana, narrow is the path to the cupcakes. No one comes to the cupcakes except through the green beans.". It's making me laugh all over again. Matthew 7:14; John 14:6 :). Eliana's favorite part was catching and holding a baby chicken. That was cute! Author, Luanne Rice.

Lots of littles. lots of chaos. lots of joy. Newer posts →. April 21, 2011. Things I learned today:. If you burn the morning’s steel cut oats thoroughly enough, you can still enjoy the burnt smell that evening. Incidentally, no one will notice if you make popcorn, since the burnt oat smell covers it up. A brown bag, post-school, pre-soccer lunch in the minivan pretty much guarantees that the new carseat no longer looks quite so new. She’s supposed to pick dandelions, right? That fancy, shiny new gate?

Lots of littles. lots of chaos. lots of joy. Lots of littles. lots of chaos. lots of joy. When the kids and I go grocery shopping, we get plenty of looks. Cruising through the Costco parking lot, a child hanging from each side of the shopping cart, another in the front of the basket, and a baby strapped to my chest, I have actually heard people exclaim (. 8220;Oh my gosh! Yup And we’re keeping them all. July 9, 2011 at 4:14 pm. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. You are commenting using...

Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. Updates on the Starling family for our loved ones near and far. Saturday, November 26, 2011. We stayed home and had the Swedberg's over for the big meal. I didn't want to do it. I didn't want to cook a big meal all by myself and then have guests over that I didn't even know very well. But then I did and I'm glad I did. Not that my kids actually ate anything that I made besides the bread (does that even count? Things I'm thankful for in 2011:. I'm thankful for Jim, my wonder...
