The Harden Household: June 2012
http://thehardenhousehold.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord." Jeremiah 29:11a. Monday, June 4, 2012. Nine Months Old and Florida. Look how much I grew in a month! Hehedid we fool you? We used a smaller Cookie Monster for the first picture! Yes, I know, I am super behind in writing this post, because at his moment, Ryder has been 9 months old for almost 2 weeks now! But we were in Florida the day he turned 9 months, so I'm hoping that by posting pictures from our trip in this post, you might forgive my tardiness!

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord." Jeremiah 29:11a. Wednesday, January 25, 2012. 5 Months Old.Where has the time gone? I cannot even begin to describe to you how fast these past five months have gone by! People always tell you that once your child is born, time seems to fly by, but I had no idea! How is that even possible? Note: This is a sonogram of Ryder, not the introduction of Baby #2.that's still a long ways off! Well, this month has brought another round of firsts! He is such a ha...

Being More Than Mommy: January 2014
http://beingmorethanmommy.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Being More Than Mommy. Friday, January 17, 2014. I feel like the strictness (is that a word) is smothering me. I plan on eating like this from here on out (except the wine and some natural sweetener) so why do I need to wait 14 more days? That said, I've told myself I will at least do 21 days. Maybe by then I'll feel differently. Wednesday, January 15, 2014. I started the Whole30. Reduce inflammation. I have a lot aches and pains. I'm hoping this will alleviate some of them. I have definitely had some up...

Being More Than Mommy: April 2014
http://beingmorethanmommy.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Being More Than Mommy. Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Here are a few reflections from my 55 mile ride today:. Riding a bike is fun. I love the sun. Riding a bike in the sun increases the fun of biking. I need new bike shorts. If it's sunny, you should wear sunscreen. If it's a beautiful day, chances are you won't be alone on the trail. Around mile 48, I wanted to punch people in the face (I was hot and tired and hungry). A lot of people roller blade. I need new bike shorts. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Being More Than Mommy: May 2014
http://beingmorethanmommy.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Being More Than Mommy. Saturday, May 24, 2014. Two weeks from right now, I'll (hopefully) be on the run in Boise. I'm finally starting to get excited. I'm still nervous and wonder if I've done enough to prepare. I try to look back at what I did last year and compare. I'm pretty sure I didn't feel totally prepared last year either. I am confident I can finish the race. I'm confident I can improve on last year. Is there really anything else I need to do? Swim-38:00 (2 minutes faster than last year). A litt...

http://runningnicki.blogspot.com/2011/05/half-fanatic-1052.html
My Journey Towards Becoming a Lifelong Runner One Mile at a Time. Monday, May 16, 2011. A week ago I received an email welcoming me into the Half Fanatics. Here's what they had to say:. Nicki, at last you have found refuge, a place you can call home, where the Fanatical can feel Normal, and once again be treated like a regular human being. I'm still glad a took a week off from running, but I did not want my week to turn into anything longer. I had a really good run. Ran the hills, but still kept a go...
