Monday, January 26, 2015. A New Year and Another Step Forward. It is now 2015 and with much anticipation, the time for medication is upon me. I have been to see the IVF clinic and this week, I will be receiving my medication calendar, which will tell me when I will begin Lupron (to suppress my ovaries) and then estrogen (to build the lining of the uterus) and finally progesterone (to prepare for the actual transfer). Wednesday, May 29, 2013. This past weekend, I reached the end of the 20th week of pregnancy. Surro-baby is halfway baked. It is an exciting milestone, commonly marked with the excitement of an anatomy scan. Today, I got to spend a good hour peering a baby's heart, head, limbs and belly. To be honest, baby kidneys and bladders aren't the most thrilling thing ever, but the rest of it was just fabulous! DRUM ROLL, PLEASE. Congratulations to my IP's on their SON-to-be!
