The goal is to reduce the pain so that I can resume normal activities and a physical therapy program, plus run faster! There is a route near home notorious for the pine cone minefield, and although fully aware of the dangers at night running through this gauntlet I zoned out for merely a second and that’ all it took. However, the long term goal is what matters, and that’s running Boston strong in April!

The original schedule was basically regurgitated from B2B training earlier this year and simply wasn’t firing me up. Also, some nagging injuries are forcing me to cross-train more to compensate for lack of running volume. I will make sure I record how well this type of training goes for me.
