The Liquid Diet: July 2006
http://theliquiddiet.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
A journal for what may be simultaneously one of the awesomest and one of the stupidest scientific experiments in recorded history! Thursday, July 20, 2006. I knew that the third day was probably going to be the hardest. And pass out at the same time. And passing out on a brewery floor is not something to look forward to. Broken glass, sanitizer, random dirt mostly from pallets, etc. Because of this guy. But for those of you that are wondering what would have happened if I had been able to finish, just ke...

The Liquid Diet: 24 hours later
http://theliquiddiet.blogspot.com/2006/07/24-hours-later.html
A journal for what may be simultaneously one of the awesomest and one of the stupidest scientific experiments in recorded history! Tuesday, July 18, 2006. By this time, Jack Bauer would have averted a global catastrophe, been at least indirectly involved in the death of several dozens of terrorists, and gotten laid. But me? I'm a just hero for the common man. 12 oz New Glarus Raspberry Tart. 16 oz Dirty Turtle (1/2 Guinness, 1/2 Terrapin Rye Cream Ale). 16 oz Blue Moon Belgian White Ale. To be honest, I ...

BRIDGER'S BEER LOG: March 2006
http://barleywineman.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Drinking beer, writing blogs, razzle-dazzle. Felecia models the newest look in this season's beer fashion, the New Belgium Biere De Mars, from Fort Collins, CO. It's a sight to behold. Posted by Bridger at 10:23 AM. Besides waking up feeling like my brain had been stomped, drinking all that beer and wine made me especially sensitive to the plight of the little African kid on the Constant Gardner, I think I cried. Drink at your own risk. I hate that African brat. Posted by Bridger at 9:15 PM. Right across...

BRIDGER'S BEER LOG: October 2006
http://barleywineman.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Drinking beer, writing blogs, razzle-dazzle. Freshops Tastival and the flavor of beer. Felecia and I went to the Freshops Tastival at the NW Lucky Lab last week where 16 or so beers of seasonal Northwest bounty were available on tap. I think it's one the better beer festivals I've been to, There were hardly any lines, people were kind, and one got the feeling of sampling unique beers hardlyconceived of by the general beer-drinking public. It made me feel rich in local culture. I saw this news article.

The Liquid Diet: It's On Like a Chicken Bone!
http://theliquiddiet.blogspot.com/2006/07/its-on-like-chicken-bone.html
A journal for what may be simultaneously one of the awesomest and one of the stupidest scientific experiments in recorded history! Monday, July 17, 2006. It's On Like a Chicken Bone! So starting today, I'm following through on one of my craziest, self-endangering ideas to date. I'm starting The Liquid Diet. No, not the one where you drink health shakes as that topic has no place on a beer-related blog. Do you see where this is going yet? Yes, it's The Liquid Diet. I cough up my liver. From the New Glarus...

Ale's What Cures Ya: Screw Corporate America! (And I'll Have a Bud Light, Please)
http://brewthoughts.blogspot.com/2005/04/screw-corporate-america-and-ill-have.html
Ale's What Cures Ya. Because life's to too short to drink dumb beer. Wednesday, April 27, 2005. And I'll Have a Bud Light, Please). I've gotta get something off my chest. In the last 5-10 years, there seems (to me) to have been a significant increase in anti-corporate thinking and clamoring, especially among people 18-35. I mean, wishing bad things on the fat cats is nothing new, but these days people hold marches and rallies dedicated to this general anti-corporatism (as I will call it). I've seen bumpe...
