Major Leaguer: Michel Gondry - Sweded!
http://majorleaguer.blogspot.com/2008/03/michel-gondry-sweded.html
Industry rule number 4080'. Saturday, March 01, 2008. Michel Gondry - Sweded! So this week Mr Kane and I went to see Be Kind Rewind. At the flicks. I'd heard some very mixed reviews about it, so you can understand I approached Mr Gondry's latest film with caution. Would Jack Black try to steal every scene? Would Mos Def mumble his way throughout the film's entirety? Would the concept of films re-made in a ragtag style be too twee? No, no and no. Occasionally has it for under a tenner as well. And Gondry'...

Major Leaguer: March 2008
http://majorleaguer.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Industry rule number 4080'. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Credit to the Edit. I love a good edit, and so does Lovefingers. One of the two folks behind the Black Disco Social Club. In Los Angeles (alongside Nitedog), Andrew Lovefingers is a master of re-edits, especially of the space-disco/balearic kind. Examples of his work, as well as a slew of DJ sets, can be found on here. I'm particularly fond of the Donald Byrd and Jo Bisso cuts at the moment.bliss). The best cartoon from my youth has finally made it DVD.

Major Leaguer: February 2008
http://majorleaguer.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Industry rule number 4080'. Sunday, February 10, 2008. What becomes of the broken hearted? Last year's Anti-Valentines session at the Keston Lodge was a hell of a lotta fun with drinking, dancing and just generally sticking two fingers in Cupid's direction by playing a selection of 'fuck love' and done-me-wrong songs throughout the course of the evening. My personal favourite of the night? C) full of pardeeeee breaks. D) probably quite messy. Now, back to our (ir)regularly scheduled blogging. Which skewe...

Transmissions from the Satellite Heart: March 20
http://puffmagic.blogspot.com/2005_03_20_archive.html
Transmissions from the Satellite Heart. Blog 55: Under the Table and Blogging. Saturday, March 26, 2005. Just finished watching U2's Elevation Tour DVD. That thing never gets old. And as I say every time I watch it: when Bono pulls that girl up on stage during With or Without You, I've never wanted to be a teenage girl so much in my life. Am I really that desperate? When do those man berries drop so that I can keep my fucking head under control when a girl smiles at me? Seems to be. Socially it seems...

Cultivating Digital Literacy: Digital activity inventory
http://cultivatingdigitalliteracy.blogspot.com/2015/07/digital-activity-inventory.html
Friday, July 24, 2015. Before moving on and trying something new, I figured it might be a fun/frightening exercise to try and remember all of the sites I've been involved with or posted on since first stepping into the digital realm over 10 years ago. In no particular order. These days, my top usage sites are Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr, Pinterest, and G . And Blogger for those times when I feel like waxing non-poetic. Kalliope's Musings: January 2005

Who knows.it might be a book one day, or maybe it'll just be my own personal therapy sessions. Time will undoubtedly tell. My life. My thoughts. kalliope72.blogspot.com. Monday, January 31, 2005. Call off the search parties. I'm still here. I've just had a lot of stuff going on, not to mention not being able to get to the computer very much at all. Except at work. And, at work.well, I have to work (the last couple of weeks anyway, coz school just started back and it's hectic). My visits with Dr Fun-Kille...

Cultivating Digital Literacy: July 2015
http://cultivatingdigitalliteracy.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. This week, our first task is to watch this fantastic TEDxNYED talk by Alan November. We have three questions to ponder:. What resources can we use to duplicate what November describes (e.g., transforming an existing space into a space that becomes a launching point for community-changing endeavors grounded in strong digital literacy skills? Difficult is not quite the right word - what this task takes is a bit more thought and it's not so easy to quickly type out an answer. Find ...
