Howard Family: November 2011
http://nevadahowards.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 25, 2011. We have averaged having family pictures done about every three years. However, last year was the year and we were building a house so we got delayed a year. She got some great pictures of our family. This one is hanging on our wall. She got some fun shots of the girls. And me with my handsome husband. (I wish he would age a bit already! This is one of my favorites that she captured as we were finishing up. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Thursday, November 24, 2011.

Howard Family: August 2011
http://nevadahowards.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 19, 2011. Part Three - 4th of July and Nat Soo Pah. After surviving all the chaos of June, it was time for some family fun. The first part of July found us doing some of our annual summer traditions which means I didn't take a lot of photos. I guess doing something every year makes me not want to record it every year. That's not a great philosophy, but it's one I seem to follow. We were joined at Nat Soo Pah by our friends Denny and Mary and their family as well as our friends Trulee.

Howard Family: New Patio
http://nevadahowards.blogspot.com/2011/11/new-patio.html
Thursday, November 24, 2011. So, today is Thanksgiving and I'm a bit behind, but what better time to catch up when you are sitting around waiting to stuff yourselves full of too much food? Back in September, Robert was up to his eyeballs in trying to get projects done before winter and snow made things difficult. One of his projects was to pour a large patio on the back/front of our house. (If you don't remember, the back of our house faces the road.Yes, we are backwards! And they went to work.

Howard Family: September 2011
http://nevadahowards.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 21, 2011. Labor Day weekend was a bit crazy at our house. Shanie had a bunch of band performances and Robert was busy getting things ready for a concrete pour (see next post for more info on that). However, Labor Day itself turned out to be not so busy so we decided to do a hike up in the canyon near our home. Our friend, Denny, and his kids (plus a couple extras) joined us. Mallory was the smart one who decided just getting her feet wet was enough. Monday, September 19, 2011. Shanie...

http://nevadahowards.blogspot.com/2011/09/part-four-ichthyosaur-and-kingston.html
Saturday, September 3, 2011. Part Four - Ichthyosaur and Kingston Canyon. Well, it's Labor Day Weekend and I am finally finishing up my blog posts regarding our crazy summer. I saved the best for last. That wasn't intentional. It just so happens that our final family trip of the summer was my favorite. And took us down into the mine. Our next adventure was touring the Ichthyosaur part of the park. Basically, they have a large building which houses the remains of several Ichthysaurs. To the untrai...We ha...

http://nevadahowards.blogspot.com/2011/09/first-day-of-school.html
Monday, September 19, 2011. First Day of School. So, the kids started school about a month ago so I figured it was time to post a first day of school picture. (Hey, at least I'm not still doing summer vacation posts :) ). Shanie is now a sophmore, Katie in eighth grade, and Mallory in sixth grade. Shanie had to wear her band t-shirt the first day because the band was playing at the opening assembly. I have a couple more posts to do then I should be caught up :). Friday, November 26, 2010. Hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving as much as we did. I have to say that Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays (4th of July being the other one) No pressure to buy gifts, etc. Just time with family and friends and a time to contemplate our many blessings. Surrounded by 80 other kids just like her :). Good luck with all your Christmas shopping. As for us, we just hope to be in our new house :). Monday, November 22, 2010. Last Week on the Home Front. Now I don't have ...

Friday, July 29, 2011. Part two - Youth Conference and Girls Camp. On to the second installment of How I Spent My Summer Vacation. We returned from Tahoe on Wednesday, June 15th then Shanie and I turned around on Thursday and drove to Utah with the other young women of our ward for Youth Conference. Here's a picture of the six girls together. Our first stop was dinner followed by the beautiful Manti Temple for the Manti Temple Pageant. We had a short devotional at the top of Ensign Peak then took the kid...
