Wednesday, April 13, 2011. My "It's a Hoot" quilt is done! My mom quilted it with a geometric pattern and echoed the bird applique. As a last minute throw-on, I added a button for the bird's eye. I was able to finish binding it on a LONG drive to Utah. I think my favorite part about this quilt was that it was pretty much free! My mom gave me the quilt kit for Christmas and my mom is a long-arm quilter. Contact me with questions.). To be quite helpful on getting a perfectly mitered corner for the binding.
