Lauren Reed's blog: Questions from Reading - Krzysztof Wodiczko
http://laurenreedsblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/questions-from-reading-krzysztof.html
Monday, March 8, 2010. Questions from Reading - Krzysztof Wodiczko. 1) As strangers, do we all consider one another to be that different? Or does our "strangeness" or personal experiences shared, unify us as a whole? 2) Do you think if more issues and experiences were shared through design (public art) as a way to deconstruct life, we could reach out to our fellow "strangers" and connect with them on a personal level? Lauren Reed's blog: April 2010
http://laurenreedsblog.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 22, 2010. So i had a difficult time trying to figure out what actually went into creating a manifesto, here's my best shot:. It is the job of the artist to create no matter what. It is the right of the artist to speak his/her mind through their work. It is the right of the artist to reach his/her public. In order to reach their public, the artist must step out of their comfort zone. It is the job of the artist to send a message. The artist must be conventional and conceptual in their ideas.

Spring 2010 Neighborhood Narratives: Final Projects - Elements
http://rutgersspring2010.blogspot.com/2010/04/final-projects-elements.html
Sunday, April 4, 2010. Final Projects - Elements. Things that can be included in your projects. Using many elements and integrating them into an organic whole is the challenge. Maps, charts, printed guides. More than one location. Physical Virtual activity at the same time. Hand-crafted elements - sewing, drawing, rubbings. Digital Material - video, web sites, radio, GPS. Elimination of one sense (blind-folds, head-phones). The archeology and/or psycho-geography of the area. Minus Truman, who had a cold.

Friday, April 30, 2010. Mike and Bri's Pickle Delivery! Monday, April 26, 2010. I agree with Nicholas Bourriaud’s definition of art in the realm of Relational Aesthetics. 1 General term describing a set of objects presented as part of a narative known as art history. This narrative draws up the critical geneology and discusses the issues raised by these objects, by way of three sub-sets: painting, sculpture, architecture. In terms of relational aesthetics, I would like to establish recognition that we ar...
