About Steve……. March 31, 2016. Most of the tour was just riding mountain bikes all over the countryside seeing the sights. It was guided tour so we had to stay on a path, but the sites were so amazing! Part of the tour to see a historical garden. A historical garden filled with monkeys. When we walked in it was a wide open courtyard with a gate. One of the first things they told us was, DON’T TOUCH the monkeys, they could get violent! Within a few minutes we start to see monkeys. My friends were amazed!

About Steve……. 22 Everything was gone! October 24, 2014. As we approached the house I could tell that something was different. My first thoughts were of my family! As we got closer I couldn’t quite tell what it was but the street, atmosphere and my family’s house look different. A week prior my school, Evangel Temple Christian Academy was competing in a regional competition. That year it was in Alamogordo, NM. I always took part in sports and singing. Our school always did well in singing and sports.

During a duty day I had to spend the night on the ship for 24 hours. If my duty day fell on a Friday or Saturday I’d go home the next day.
