Series Design - Atul Gawande. This project involved re-branding Atul Gawande’s back list titles of ‘Complications’ and ‘Better’ as well as updating the look for the new B-format of ‘Being Mortal’. Using Peter Dyer’s original design for the Hardback of Being Mortal as an influence for the whole series the border layout and author branding was carried across the 3 titles. The final covers use a combination of strong colours and metallic foils for the border, author and emblem to create a coherent series.
