Once Upon a Time There Was a Girl and a Robot. Monday, August 29, 2011. Every summer the kids and I take a little road trip to California to see my sister. It is a very long drive (12 hrs-thank goodness for dvd players) but we love it, so we go. Usually it is pretty uneventful. Its just a nice week (or so) away to visit. AZ The Trek is a condensed version of the Handcart Trek the early Saints endured traveling to the Salt Lake Valley. The YM. Where divided into family units with Ma's ,Pa's, big brothers and sisters. The youth spent two nights and three days on the 10 mile trail, with only one change of clothes and no soap, deodorant.
